OBJECTIVE
The Books for Kids Foundation is a nonprofit organization that promotes literacy among all children, especially low-income or at risk adolescents. The organization came to Havas Media with two prompts to promote their mission as a nonprofit foundation's mission. One of the projects was to produce a viral back-to-school campaign that would create traffic to their website, and raise awareness for their foundation.

APPROACH
Working with a selected team of summer interns, we created the Go Wild for Books Campaign, with an animal theme to engage the young demographic of the foundation. Researching popular children's literature and illustrations we went in a direction of bright colors, bold typography and basic graphics.
DELIVERABLES
• Keynote Presentation
• Campaign Illustrations
• Campaign Kickstarter
• Animation

PROGRAMS
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe After Effects
• Keynote
Throughout the process storyboarding, sketching, copywriting and producing deliverables for the final pitch were key to help create the style, feel and overall design of the campaign.
To kickstart the campaign I designed the introduction video prompting schools to participate in the viral campaign that would be viewed on all social media platforms. The goal was to emulate minimalist children's book illustrations and simple animations to engage our target audience.
